AJ Jenkins was an American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL). Born on September 30, 1989, in Jacksonville, Florida, Jenkins began his football career in high school, where he quickly became known for his exceptional speed and agility. He attended Terry Parker High School, where he was a standout player and caught the attention of college recruiters.
Jenkins decided to take his talents to the University of Illinois, where he played for the Fighting Illini football team from 2008 to 2011. During his college career, he proved to be a reliable target for his quarterbacks, displaying an ability to make difficult catches in traffic. He was known for his speed, explosiveness, and excellent route-running, which made him a nightmare for opposing defenses.
